Remove stress in only five minutes with Resting Pose

If you breathe deeply while doing Resting Pose, you will be able to eliminate feelings of stress.

As you rush through these busy days preparing for the holidays, why not take five minutes and treat yourself to this pose’s calming effects.

The benefits of Resting Pose are:

  • Relaxes central nervous system
  • Calms the mind
  • Relieves stress
  • Relaxes the body
  • Reduces insomnia and improves sleep
  • Reduces headache and fatigue

Step one: Lay down on your back.

Step two: Splay your feet open a little bit wider than hip-width apart.

Step three: Turn your palms up and rest them by your side.

Step four: Draw your shoulders down and away from the ears and relax.

Step five: Raise your chin slightly and allow your face to soften.

Step five: Close your eyes and allow your body to release tension and melt into the mat.

Enjoy your new-found restfulness.
